Taper dans la balle

September 2017 : 100 years after the first women's soccer match, Sophie Laly directs Taper dans la balle. The film follows a women's soccer team assembled for the occasion, invited to play their own role in Footballeuses, choreographer Mickaël Phelippeau's latest show. 12 female players tell us about their careers, their encounters with soccer and analyze the stakes of this sport in a society where it is often reserved for men. They range in age from 21 to 57, with different lifestyles, but they are all bound together by the need to play soccer, a shared commitment that brings with it a rare sense of team spirit.
